What is TrollStore and why is it special?
TrollStore is a permasigned jailed app installer for iOS. It exploits CoreTrust vulnerabilities (discovered by Linus Henze and AlfieCG) to permanently sign IPA applications with root entitlements. Unlike regular sideloading (AltStore / SideStore), TrollStore apps NEVER expire, never get revoked by Apple, and you can install an unlimited number of apps without a computer.
Does TrollStore work on iOS 17.0 and iOS 17.5?
iOS 17.0 is supported! It is the final firmware that contains the CoreTrust Bug 2, installable via TrollRestore. However, iOS 17.0.1, 17.1 through iOS 17.7 and iOS 18+ are NOT supported because Apple permanently patched CVE-2023-41991 in iOS 17.0.1.
What should I do if TrollStore is not compatible with my iOS?
If your firmware is not compatible with TrollStore, use modern sideloading tools like Feather IPA Signer, SideStore (which signs apps wirelessly without a PC), Lightning Sign, or package managers like Cydia Reborn and Jailbreak Tweak Master.
Can my iPhone get bricked by using TrollStore?
No. TrollStore does not modify your iOS bootloader or kernel files permanently. It installs into a user-facing helper app (such as GTA Car Tracker, Tips, or Books). You can uninstall TrollStore cleanly anytime from the TrollStore settings tab.
